Mapping a Non-Humanoid Head to a Human Actor




My thesis involves mapping the rig of a non-humanoid model, in this case the hippocampus from Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, concepted by Sebastian Meyer, to a human actor, to allow the actor to control the facial animation in real-time.
I used 3DS Max for my model and rig, and worked with Dynamixyz to create the bridge between the model and the actor.
